TJ Brodie Picks Up First NHL Point in Win Over Chicago
Five minutes into Friday’s 5-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, Dresden’s TJ Brodie picked up his first career NHL point playing with the Calgary Flames.
Brodie’s point came on a goal by Lee Stempniak, also assisted by Alex Tanguay, to give the Flames a 1-0 lead.
Brodie had 14:23 of ice time in the game, and more importantly, was a +2.
Chatham’s Ryan Jones scored Thursday for the Edmonton Oilers in their game against the Ottawa Senators, a 5-2 loss. Jones’ goal came late in the third period on the powerplay as he tipped in an Eric Belanger point shot.
