U-10 Chatham Thunder Post Another Win Over Forest

Coming off a two game winning streak the Cement Man U10 Chatham Thunder Ringette team posted another strong win with a 8-1 victory over Forest White.

Courtney Legere scored the Thunder’s first goal within 18 seconds of the game’s start. Legere went on to post another 3 goals in the first half. Erica Anderson posted two goals in the first half as well. Forest White answered with a lone goal. Audrey Mackay-Barr stopped the initial shot but the ring bounced off her padding trickling in. Mackay-Barr had a busier game against Forest White than any previous competition but was stellar against some strong shooters from Forest.

Emilie Newman added a goal for Chatham midway through the second half and Lydia Harron posted a goal with a minute left in the game. Emilie Newman assisted on three Chatham Thunder goals. Along with her second period goal Newman was the team’s Game Star this week.

The Chatham Thunder U10 have their first away game this coming Saturday in Dorchester. Dorchester is also undefeated.
