Ford’s Drive One 4 UR Community to Help Chatham Minor Hockey Association
Victory Ford is bringing Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited’s innovative Drive One 4 UR Community program to the Chatham in an effort to raise up to $6,000 for Chatham Minor Hockey. For every person who test-drives a Ford vehicle at the Erickson Arena on December 17th, Victory Ford and Ford of Canada will donate $20 to Chatham Minor Hockey. The funds will be used for a free hockey camp for house league players during the Christmas holidays.
“We know how important hockey is to our kids and as part of this community, we want to help,” said Don Leonard at Victory Ford. “This is why we’re excited to raise money for Chatham Minor Hockey, meanwhile introducing parents, teenagers and other drivers to our high-quality line-up and innovative safety technologies.” The event, which will be held from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M., will feature 10 new Ford vehicles including the Ford Focus, Fiesta, Mustang, Edge, Explorer and F-150.
Since the start of Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School and Community programs in 2010, Drive One events have raised more than $1 million, benefiting more than 375 schools and local organizations across Canada.
To participate, please visit the Erickson Arena north parking lot at 341 Delaware Ave between 10 A.M. and 5 P.M. on Saturday, December 17th.
Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.
