Jason Missiaen Called Up to AHL’s Connecticut Whale
The New York Rangers have announced that they have re-assigned Chatham goalie Jason Missiaen to their American Hockey League team, the Connecticut Whale. Jason saw exhibition game action in the preseason with the Whale.
Jason had been playing with the Greenville (SC) Road Warriors of the ECHL. In 10 games with the Road Warriors, Jason had a 5-3-1 record, including three shutouts. He also had a 2.43 games against average and a .926 save percentage.
Meanwhile, Dresden’s Wes Cunningham has returned to the Road Warriors after playing two games for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top AHL team of the New York Islanders.
