Junior C All-Star Game being held in Essex

The stars will be shining tonight in Essex, as the annual Great Lakes Junior ‘C’ Hockey League All-Star Game is set to be held.

The contest will have the All-Stars from the South Division battling against the stars from the North.

The Chatham-Kent clubs will be well represented in the game.

Participating from the Blenheim Blades are goalie Dylan Vanderpol, defenceman Matt Speed and forwards Aidan Wiebenga and Taylor Phillips.

From Dresden, captain Jeff Vanrabaeys, and forwards Macks Holmes, James Shelton and Dylan Mertz.

Representing Wheatley is goalie Marc Tremblay, defenceman Brian Johnson and forwards Riley Babkirk and Sebastian Kanally.

Jordan Durston, Troy Babcock, Scotty Lubbers and Jeff Nolfo will represent the Wallaceburg Lakers for the North squad.

The puck drops at 7 p.m. tonight.
