Sean Pollock had a big game to open the 2012 National Lacrosse League season collecting 8-points in his first game with the Colorado Mammoth during a 20-14 win. To make the night even sweeter, the win came against the very team that traded Pollock away during the offseason, the Minnesota Swarm.

In the game, Pollock, a Wallaceburg product, scored two goals and added 6 assists. Pollock had one shorthanded goal and picked up one loose ball in the game.

Last season as a member of the Minnesota Swarm, Pollock collected 9 goals and 18 assists in 16 games, totals he is set to crush after his breakout performance to open the season.

In the offseason, Pollock was traded to Colorado in exchange for the Mammoth’s 3rd overall pick in the 2011 Dispersal Draft of Boston players.

Colorado will now make a Canadian road swing facing the Edmonton Rush and Calgary Roughnecks next weekend.
