UCC Lancers Win CKSS Team Varsity Volleyball Tournament

The Ursuline College Jr. girls Volleyball team competed in 2 tournament this past weekend.  On Friday they finished second at the Essex High School Invitational, before winning a tournament at CKSS.

In Essex, UCC finished first in their pool play:
vs. Sandwich            25-23, 26-24
vs. Assumption          25-16, 25-17
vs. Catholic Central     25-18, 25-23

In playoffs the Lancers went on to beat CKSS in the quarters  25-16, 25-9, In the Semis they beat Leamington 25-9, 25-23 and in the finals lost to Sandwich 21-25, 15-25.

On Saturday the Jr. Lancers won the CKSS Team Varsity tournament.

In Round Robin play they finished 3rd out of the 6 teams

In playoffs they went on to beat  East Elgin, then CKSS in the Semis they beat  and in the finals they beat Saunders 25-11,, 25-16.

The Lancers will host a 12 team tournament this weekend at UCC.
