New Home Means Even Better Performance
When it comes to Performance Training and Fitness’ new home, bigger really is better. Earlier this month, Performance made the move from their old Queen Street location, to a new 9,000 square foot facility on Richmond Street.
According to Performance Owner and Manager Dave Miller, the new site opens the door for new classes, methods of training, and an increased client base,
“We started renting this facility to run our Fit Camp classes,” said Miller, “It worked out, and we made the move so we can start offering more fitness opportunities.”
With the added space of their new location, Miller says his staff is ready to do what they do best, which is assist members in reaching their fitness goals and getting results,
“We are more of a serious training facility,” explained Miller. “Whether it be for a beginner, someone just wanting to get started, or an advanced exerciser, but we’re trying not to be that showy gym. We want people to come here who are serious about getting results, and we want to help them get those results.”
Led by fitness and body building world champions Matt and Emily Stirling, Miller is confident new members will appreciate the expert staff at Performance Fitness and Training, and that they’ll leave with a great feeling about themselves; looking and feeling great.
“Our staff is what sets us apart. I don’t think the knowledge of our instructors and trainers can be matched anywhere in the city,” Miller explained about the Performance trainers, who all have an education in health and fitness, and continue to upgrade their certifications.
Despite the serious training attitude at Performance Fitness and Training, Miller recognizes that each exerciser starts at a unique level of fitness, which is why his staff focuses on education with new members,
“When a member starts here we focus 100% on education. We do an in depth fitness assessment, wellness profile, and we try to open them up to the options that our club offers members.”
With a new home, Performance is looking forward to a bright future in Chatham. The club, which is located at 770 Richmond Street, offers a variety of services, state of the art equipment, and group classes including spinning, zumba, and TRX among others, and will soon be expanding to offer CrossFit instruction.
