Allin’s Take On KCSSAA All-Stars

A local all-star charity basketball game is planned for Thursday evening in Chatham. In the game, Team Allin will take on a group of local high school All-Star’s for a fundraising basketball game at 7pm at John McGregor Secondary School.

The KCSSAA “AA-AAAA” all-star team will including Chatham-Kent Secondary School players Blayne Bechard, Ian Smart, and Tom Oostveen, and Wallaceburg’s Nevada Riley. From the Kent Champion John McGregor Secondary School Panthers, Oshane Daley, Dylan McTavish, and Jeramy VanDeWynckel.

From the ‘AAA-AAAA’ OFSAA representative UCC Lancers, Jazz Miguel-White and Tristan Robinet will suit up, as well as Luke Allin, who will face family members and other members of Team Allin.

Team Allin will feature other members of the Allin family, as well as former players of long time coach and teacher Dave Allin. Max Allin currently stars for the OUA’s Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks, while Rich, Connor, and Greg Allin are all University of Windsor Lancers basketball alumni.

Proceeds from the game will go to the ALS Society of Canada.
