Chatham’s Max Allin has been named an OUA Second Team All-Star following another strong season of OUA basketball for the Ursuline College alumni.

This is the second consecutive season Allin has been named a Second Team West Division OUA All-Star.

Playing in his third season with the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks Men’s Basketball team this season, Allin dominated at both ends of the court, averaging a career high 15 points per game, ranking the guard 16th in the OUA.

Allin sat 4th in the OUA in total rebounds with 110, averaging over 6 boards per game.

Max Allin was named the Wilfrid Laurier Athlete of the Week three times this season, including back-to-back weeks in January.

After struggling with the Windsor Lancers all season, Allin and the Laurier Golden Hawks were eliminated by Windsor in the first round of the OUA playoffs in a thrilling 61-58 game.

The 6’4″ Chatham product is not the only member of his family reaching new heights this week, as his younger brother Luke Allin led his UCC Lancers Senior Boys basketball team an OFSAA appearance after scoring a double-double against Holy Names in the SWOSSAA final.
