TJ Brodie Injured, Listed as Day-to-Day
Brodie is currently listed as day-to-day with an “upper body injury.”
In the era of vague injury descriptions, an upper body injury can mean anything from a separated should or bruised ribs, to a concussion.
Brodie was injured in a 5-3 win Friday against the Winnipeg Jets. Brodie played just over 15-minutes in the win. Although the exact cause of the injury was not specified, Brodie was hit in the first by Jets forward Tanner Glass who was given a boarding penalty on the play.
In 54 games this season with the Calgary Flames, TJ Brodie has 2 goals and 12 assists for 14 points.
Last season while playing for the Abbotsford Heat, Brodie had his season ended prematurely by a high ankle sprain that plagued the rookie defenseman well into the offseason.
