Chatham Skating Club Hands Out Annual Awards

The Chatham Skating Club recently held their year end banquet on Saturday, April 21 and presented the following awards to skaters and adults within the club.

Back row – Left to Right
Ryley Goodhand – Walter Coulter Scholarship Memorial Award – A well-rounded graduating student, pursuing a post secondary education in the fall.

Anna Hodgson – Walter Coulter Memorial Synchro Award – Most Sportsman-Like Synchronized Skater.

Ashley Glassco – Katie Patterson Memorial Award – Highest Competitive Achievement in the current season (recipient can not be repeated from previous years)

Chelsea Robinson – Walter Coulter Scholarship Memorial Award – A well-rounded graduating student, pursuing a post secondary education in the fall.

William Lindsay – Official of the Year (Skating Judge. Evaluator, Technical Specialist)

Jacqueline Sereda – Al Macauley Memorial Award – Level ‘A’ Skater of the Year.

Paige Newman – John McKay Memorial Award – A skater who has passed a Gold or Competitive Test in the current season, and commitment to the club.

Alexa Galbraith – Walter Coulter Scholarship Memorial Award – A well-rounded graduating student, pursuing a post secondary education in the fall.

Elyse Gregory – Sunshine Award (Carolyn Anakin Memorial) – A skater who radiates warmth, cheer and happiness on and off the ice.

Gabrielle Doey – Judy Barry Memorial Award – Level ‘C’ Skater of the Year.

Amanda Couture – StarSkater Athlete Award – Well rounded StarSkater of the Year.

Olivia Stallaert – Program Assistant Award – Volunteer/Assistant of the year for the CanSkate Program.

Jo-Ann Batten – Coach Award of Excellence – Club Coach of the Year.

Kate Lesy -Eric Ryan Memorial Synchro Award – A synchronized skater who exemplifies virtues as a team player, humble and gracious.

Hannah Ross – Nels Armstrong Memorial Award – Level ‘B’ Skater of the Year.
