South Buxton Raceway Mall Show Coming to Downtown Chatham Centre

South Buxton Raceway will be rolling into the Downtown Chatham Centre this coming weekend for their annual and popular Mall Show.

The cars will arrive Thursday April 12 at 6pm with the show ending Saturday April 14 at 6pm. Visitors will be welcomed during regular Mall hours.

Featuring close to a dozen drivers and their race cars from South Buxton Raceway, the Mall Show gives fans and shoppers the opportunity to interact with drivers, and get up close and personal with their cars.

Each year, the Downtown Chatham Centre and its stores report a huge boost in income during the South Buxton Raceway Mall Show, which has become an annual highlight for the Mall’s calendar. The meet and greet with the drivers will take place between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday.

Sponsors for this season’s South Buxton Raceway schedule, which kicks off on May 5, include Tire Craft in the Mini Mods, Windride Transportation in the Sport Stocks, Schinklels Meats in the Modifieds division, and new sponsor, Glencoe Auto Recyclers in the Late Models division. Saturday’s show will feature vehicles and drivers from each of these categories.

South Buxton Raceway will welcome several new events to the track for the 2012 season as well as the Northern Nationals for the 2nd year on June 23 and August 18. Buxton will also welcome back their Tractor pull event for the third season on Friday August 3rd.

New events to South Buxton Raceway this season include the Topless Sprints on July 21, Tusac Mod Lites on September 22, and the return of the Mod Lite show on June 30.
