High School Soccer Roundup

The Pain Court Patriotes were successful in girls SWOSSAA semi action beating Petrolia 6-1. Megan North scored twice, with Audree Rossignol, Shelby Paraskevopoulos, Cassandra Faubert and Emily Pepper also scoring. Pain Court will host Lajeunesse tomorrow at 4pm in the SWOSSAA championship.

In AAA boys action, the Chatham-Kent Secondary School Golden Hawks beat the Sarnia Northern Vikings 2-1 in a shootout in the ‘AAA’ boys semifinal. Brandon Foster scored the shootout winner for the Golden Hawks The Hawks will host the Windsor Catholic Central Comets tomorrow.

In AA girls action, the Wallaceburg Tartans shot at a SWOSSAA crown came to an end yesterday. Wallaceburg fell to Sarnia St. Christopher 3-0 at WD. Michelle Savo, Nicki Parkes, and Haley Potvin all scored for the Cyclones
