After a tough stretch, Wallaceburg’s Clint Lamarsh helped his hometown Wallaceburg Red Devils get back in the win column with a 10-4 win over the Brampton Excelsiors.

After Brampton got out to a quick 2-0 lead, Lamarsh scored a first period hat trick to put his Red Devils ahead.

Brampton tied the game to start the second, but Lamarsh scored a second period hat trick again to put Wallaceburg back in the lead.

Lamarsh scored again to open the scoring in the third period, before Branden Lilley, Reid Miller, and Rob Pollock polished off the scoring for Wallaceburg.

Ryan Schuetzkowski made 28 saves in the win for Wallaceburg which improved the Red Devils’ record to 7-6 this season. Lamarsh finished the game with seven goals, while Rob Pollock played set up man scoring once and adding eight assists in the victory.

Wallaceburg now has a week off before travelling to Elora June 2 and Orangeville June 3.

Former league leading scorer Jordan Durston has now missed 6 consecutive games for Wallaceburg.
