Team Rallies Support Around Pollock’s

The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League plan to rally support for Wallaceburg’s Sean Pollock and his wife Jenna, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last week.

The Pollock’s also have a 1-year-old son named Owen.

The Mammoth are planning a fundraiser silent-auction featuring items from the Mammoth and every player on the team to be held this Saturday during Colorado’s playoff game against Pollock’s former team the Minnesota Swarm.

“My thoughts and prayers are with Sean, Jenna and the Pollock family during this trying time,” Steve Govett, GM and president of the Mammoth said on the team’s website. “Our team considers itself to be a family, and our whole family is hurting right now. Everyone within the organization is determined to do everything in our power to support Sean and Jenna.”

Pollock and his wife Jenna, who is 30-years-old still live in Minnesota.

A few highlighted items for the auction will include Mammoth star John Grant’s All-Star jersey and the ball he set the National Lacrosse League scoring record of 116-points in a season with.
