UCC’s Connor Parker Commits to McMaster Men’s Volleyball Program
McMaster University men’s volleyball coach Dave Preston is excited to announce an impressive group of recruits that he expects will help keep the Marauders in contention for the OUA and CIS championships.
Among this outstanding recruiting class is Chatham native Connor Parker, a 6-foot, libero from Ursuline College and the Chatham BallHawks Volleyball Club.
“The recruiting process has become increasingly competitive and I think we have secured the right student athletes to be successful the ‘McMaster Way’,” Preston said.
“I really look forward to helping these young men accomplish their goals while we all strive to achieve those of the Men’s Volleyball program as well.”
A setter at Ursuline during his own high school days, Coach Preston is high on Parker and pleased with his decision to don Maroon this fall. “Connor is a former setter and a great hand passer,” explains Preston.
“Getting the right player in the libero position can dramatically affect the offence, defense and transition game.”
