Clements Loses UFC 149 Bout Against Riddle

Dresden’s Chris Clements lost his second appearance in the octagon at UFC 149, after winning his first ever UFC fight earlier this year.

Clements went three rounds with Matt Riddle, before Riddle forced Clements to submit using a standing arm triangle at 2:02 of the third round.

Riddle edged Clements in the scoring through the first two rounds, taking down the local fighter multiple times. Clements went for several big strikes, but struggled in other aspects of the fight to get the upper hand on Riddle.

Clements, who signed a five fight deal with the UFC will now wait for his next opponent which likely won’t come until mid to late Fall.

The loss moves his UFC record to 1-1.
