Jonah Pataki Named OFC Offensive Player of the Week

Wallaceburg’s Jonah Pataki has been named the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) Player of the Week for Week 5.

During Week 5, Pataki carried the ball 12 times, picking up 173 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. Pataki is averaging over 80 yards per game.

The grade 12 student at Wallaceburg District Secondary School was honoured earlier this year by the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame receiving the yearly award for Outstanding Acievement.

Pataki led his WDSS Tartans Senior Football team to an undefeated season and a Kent and SWOSSAA Championship. In the SWOSSAA final, Pataki scored 3 touchdowns after putting together an impressive 4 touchdown performance in the Kent final.

Chatham-Kent will close out their regular season schedule this weekend against the Forest City Thunderbirds.
