Kent Havoc Senior Women Notch First Win
The game was a return engagement, as the Kent Havoc had travelled to Port Elgin in the season opener, which the Banshee’s dominated. Bruce went into the game with a 3-1 record, while the Havoc Women were 0-3.
In this game, the Havoc had a full roster of 22, and were able to get the best out of their roster while dealing with the extreme heat and the humidity.
Kent scored 4 tries in the game. Breanne Nicholas had 2, Tegan Williams had 1, and Sarah Whitelaw had 1. Sophia Roth was 2 for 3 on conversions, while Breanne Nicholas kicked a penalty in the game.
The next game for the Kent Havoc women is at home on the July 14 versus Sarnia, under the lights at CKSS.
The Havoc U-18s Girls are in Windsor Sunday for the first Southwest Rugby Tournament of the season.
