Kirk Defends MCL Title
Tyler Kirk again defended his Michigan Combat League 125-pound title by defeating fighter Chris Bohacek for a second time in the last year.
Kirk, who fights out of Redemption MMA in Chatham brought a huge crowd of supporters with him to the bout, and did not disappoint defeating Bohacek by TKO at 2:26 of the 1st round.
In their last fight, Kirk needed 48 seconds using a triangle submission.
This fight last slightly longer, but after Bohacek missed while trying to knock Kirk off his feet, Kirk got into a full mount and went to the ground and pound game until the referee was forced to stop the fight.
This was Kirk’s first fight since his title win, in which he also suffered two fractures and a broken eye socket. The win improves his MMA record to 5-1.
