Chatham Ball Players Medal at Ontario Summer Games

The Western Counties Baseball Association sent a select team to participate in the 2012 Ontario Summer Games and they came home with a silver medal. The team was comprised of boys from Chatham, Wyoming, Petrolia and Sarnia.

Gold medalists were Toronto, while the Bronze went to Brampton and 4th place was Sun Parlour which is a Windsor, Essex team.

The Southwest team, which included 9 players from the Chatham Diamonds Major Bantam team, had to beat COBA (Brampton) in the semi-finals and this meant beating the team that recently won the AAA Eliminations tournament. WCBA came to compete and won the game 6-2.
