Havoc Beat Norfolk in Season Finale
The Kent Havoc Senior Women hosted the Norfolk Lady Harvesters in their last game of the season on Saturday. In the first meeting Norfolk squeezed out a win 29-15, by scoring a late try against the run of play.
This time the Havoc Ladies were determined to have a better performance, and were also trying to compensate for a poor showing against Sarnia in their previous game.
What resulted was Havoc’s best performance of the season, with excellent all round team play, and domination of the Harvesters in most aspects of ther game.
Final score was 38-20 for Havoc, with Jaleesa Russell scoring 2 trys, Breanne Nicholas scoring 2 trys, Sophia Roth with one and Cass Stabler scoring her 1st career try. Sophia Roth was 4 for 6 on conversions.
The U18 and Senior Women will host Kent Havoc’s 5th Annual Prom Dress Rugby game this Saturday at 1:30 at the old CCI field in Victoria Park.
The U18s are off to Markham on the 26th to play in the Rugby Ontario Junior Cup Day, representing the Southwest Rugby Union.
