McKinlay Helps Jamieson Team to Third

Ridgetown’s Crawford McKinlay participated with the Jamieson Junior Golf Tour men’s team at the Ontario Junior Tour Championships Tuesday and Wednesday in Perth, Ontario.

As a member of the Jamieson team, McKinlay came home with a third place finish, only one stroke out of second.

On the opening day, McKinlay shot a 75 at Perth Links O’Tay Golf Course and followed it up with a 77 on Wednesday.

The performance put McKinlay at +10 over two days, good for 12th place individually in the Championships.

On the Jamieson Tour this summer, McKinlay was the top ranked Chatham-Kent golfer finishing 7th overall, just slightly ahead of Chatham’s Paul Seward. McKinlay won the Ridgetown stop on the Jamieson Tour shooting a 3 under par 69 on his home course.
