After spending last season playing in the OHL with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, one of the Chatham Maroons top performers from the past two years, Alex Morgan, will be returning to Chatham.

The forward, who had four goals and an assist in four games last season with Chatham before joining the Soo Greyhounds, will bolster an already strong Maroons forward corps that has helped propel the team into first in the GOJHL Western Conference.

Morgan confirmed his return to CKSN via Twitter Wednesday night Tweeting, “It’s official, #44, debut vs. Leamington tomorrow #MaroonNation.”

In 36 games in the OHL last season, Morgan had 1 goal, 2 assists, and 59 penalty minutes. As a rookie in Chatham in 2010-2011, Morgan scored 22 goals in 48 games.

He will join Chatham Thursday for their game against the Leamington Flyers at 7:10pm on the road.
