Woodman Named CJFL All-Star

Chatham’s Josh Woodman has been named a Canadian Junior Football League All-Star after a strong season as a member of the London Beefeaters.

Woodman, a receiver, finished the season first in the CFJL (OFC) with 44 receptions. The Ursuline College graduate, who is now attending Western University in London, was also second in the league with 722 total yards.

Averaging 16.4 yard per reception, Woodman helped his London Beefeaters to a 7-1 record, good for first overall in the Ontario Football Conference. Woodman also had four touchdowns this season.

In early September, Woodman was named the OFC – CJFL offensive player of the week after catching three touchdowns and 230 yards in a 37-11 win over the Windsor AKO Fratman.
