Grealis Walks Away From Wallaceburg Lakers Bench
Wallaceburg Lakers head coach Paul Grealis has announced he is stepping down from his position behind the bench.
Grealis, who also serves as the team’s General Manager will maintain that position with the club.
Greatlis announced the move to his team following a 4-3 loss to the last place Kingsville Comets Wednesday night, which marked Wallaceburg’s sixth consecutive loss.
Current Lakers assistance coach Chris Jacobs will take over from Grealis as the team’s head coach for the remainder of the season.
Through 24 games this season, Wallaceburg sits with a 7-15-0-2 record. The Lakers will travel to Alvinston Friday night to take on the Flyers.
