Babkirk Hats Win For Wheatley

Babkirk got on the scoresheet 15:13 into the second period. He then added goals at 1:48 into the third and at 17:35 into the third.
The Wheatley Sharks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Wheatley kept Kingsville’s goalie busy throughout the game, and Laine Parent made 32 saves on 39 shots. The Sharks found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Wheatley averages 3.5 goals per game.
Wheatley additionally got points from Sebastian Kanally, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Jon Woelk, who also had two goals and one assist. Craig Adamson also scored for Wheatley. Other players who recorded assists for Wheatley were Luke Gagnon, who had two, Kyle Quick, who had three, and Kurtis Ouellette and Brian Johnson, who each chipped in one.
The Comets were led by Frank Desjardin, who racked up one goal. Desjardin scored 18:17 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Wheatley. Kyle Morand picked up the assist. Kingsville also got a goal from Mark Fratarcangeli as well. More assists for Kingsville came via Ryan Desjarlais, Daniel Beaudion, and Justin Parker, who contributed one a piece.
