The game between the Chatham Maroons and the Strathroy Rockets was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Chatham emerged with a 4-2 win.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Brennan Feasey’s goal in the second period proved to be the difference maker.

Feasey had two goals to lead the Maroons to victory.

Chatham’s offense rang up 45 shots on Strathroy’s net.

Chatham additionally got points from Blake Blondeel, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Brayden Hopkins also scored for Chatham. In addition, Chatham received assists from Morris Branden, Jake Flegel, Trevor Richardson, Nate Pietens, and Michael Verboom, who contributed one a piece.

The Rockets kept the Maroons’ goalie busy throughout the game, and Scott Tricker made 36 saves on 38 shots.

Strathroy was led by Wes Baker, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Baker scored 16:32 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Jordan DaSilva assisted on the tally. Chatham incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Dalen Kuchmey made 41 saves for the Rockets on 45 shots. Strathroy incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
