Wallaceburg’s Shaun Suisham was honoured again this week as the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. It is the second time this season Suisham has been awarded this designation.

Suisham kicked the game winning field goal, a 42-yard attempt, as the clock expired Sunday to lift his Pittsburgh Steelers to a crucial 23-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Suisham was a perfect 3-for-3 in field goal attempts in the game, including a 46-yarder to open the scoring, and a 41-yard kick to end the first half.

In early October, Suisham was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after kicking a game winning field goal and going 3-for-3 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

This is the third time Suisham has received this honour in his career.

Shaun is really coming through in the clutch for the Steelers this season. I hope he will be rewarded with a trip to the Pro Bowl.
