Campbell Leads GOJHL

Brady Campbell of the Elmira Sugar Kings

Blenheim’s Brady Campbell is having a huge season with the GOJHL’s Elmira Sugar Kings.

After winning the Sutherland Cup two seasons ago, the veteran forward is having his best offensive season of his Junior B career, leading the GOJHL in goals with 38 through 35 games.

St. Catherines Luke Karaim and Niagara Falls’ Cam Stewart are the next closest scorers both with 31 goals.

Campbell also sits third overall in the province in scoring with 67 points through those 35 games. In October, Campbell was named the Midwestern Conference’s forward of the month. Campbell was also selected to play for Team Red in the 2012 GOJHL All-Star game earlier this season.

The Elmira Sugar Kings currently sit third in the GOJHL’s Midwestern Conference with a 22-9-4 record, only three points behind first place Caledonia, with two games in hand.

In his best GOJHL season, Campbell had 28 goals and 26 assists in 51 games in 2010-2011. The year prior, Campbell was a member of the Blenheim Blades.
