Hope Back in Action With Buffalo State College
After enjoying a strong first half of the season, Blenheim’s Brett Hope will be kicking off the second half of his season with the Buffalo State College Bengals January 4.
Hope, an alumni of the Chatham Maroons and St. Thomas Stars, is in his first season with Buffalo State.
After going scoreless in his first games of the season, Hope started to hit the scoresheet consistently following a 3-2 win over Morrisville State November 2, when he collected a single assist.
A few weeks later in a 5-4 loss to Oswego, Hope scored his first of the season.
November 30 in a 7-3 win over Fredonia, Hope scored a goal, and added an assist for his best offensive performance of the season to date. Through 13 games, Hope has 2 goals and 5 assists.
Hope, who is studying business, is one of four Canadians on the Buffalo State roster. Buffalo State currently sits with a 5-7-1 record, and will host New England College and St. Anselm January 4 and 5 to kick off the 2013 portion of their season.
Buffalo State currently sits 4th in the SUNYAC standings.
