Myers, Blondeel Light Up All-Star Game
Myers, who is the Maroons captain, scored once in the second period, and twice in the third to pick up a hat trick in the win.
Blondeel, a hard hitting veteran, scored twice and added two assists for a four point night.
Michael Verboom also had four points on the night, picking up four assists. Verboom is the Chatham Maroons’ leading scorer.
Steven Szekesy and Brayden Hopkins, who were also representing the Chatham Maroons for Team Harvey were both held of the scoresheet. Chatham goalie Darien Ekblad was a backup in the game and didn’t see action.
Chatham currently leads the Leamington Flyers, sitting first overall in the Western Conference, by four points. Chatham defeated Leamington 4-1 Sunday night. The Maroons will host Strathroy in a rare Friday night home game this week.
