Rugby Symposium Coming to Bradley Convention Centre

The Southwest Rugby Union, in conjunction with the Ontario Rugby Union will host a major Rugby Event in Chatham this coming March 2-3.

The event, being called the Southwestern Ontario Rugby Symposium, will be held at Chatham-Kent’s new JOhn D. Bradley Convention Centre (565 Richmond Street, Chatham) and will consist of an NCCP Introduction to Competition Coaching Course, NCCP Community Initiation Coaching Course, IRB Referee Certification Course, High Five Certification Course, and General Interest Seminars for Players, Parents and Coaches.

Vendor and Display Booths will also be set up throughout the Bradley Convention Centre.

Rugby in Chatham-Kent has continued to grow over the past decade with a strong club system in the Kent Havoc Rugby Football Club, and rugby at the high school level across Chatham-Kent for both boys and girls.
