The eighth place Lambton Shores Predators are giving the first place Chatham Maroons a run for their money after defeating the Maroons 3-2 in overtime Tuesday night, tying their best of seven GOJHL playoff series at 2-2.

Kyle Brothers opened the scoring on the powerplay for Lambton Shores in the first period. As the second got underway, Lambton Shores scored again, this time coming off the stick of Ryan Rotundi.

Chatham then used a pair of powerplay goals, one from Thomas Eady, and the other from Brennan Feasey, to knot the game and send it to overtime.

In the extra frame, Brothers scored his second of the game to lift the Lambton Shores Predators to the win and tie the best of seven series at two games each.

Game five gets underway Thursday, March 7, at 7pm at Chatham’s Memorial Arena. Game six will return to Forest Saturday, March 9, at 7:30pm.
