Bartlett Named New UWO Volleyball Head Coach

Chatham’s Melissa Bartlett has taken a significant step in her volleyball coaching career, as the current Chatham-Kent Secondary School coach and teacher has been named the new Head Coach of the Western University Mustangs women’s volleyball team.

Bartlett currently coaches at Chatham-Kent Secondary School, as well as at the OVA level with the Chatham Ballhawks. She was also the head coach for Team Ontario’s U18 program last season.

A rookie OUA coach, Bartlett will replace long time Western Mustangs head coach Dave Edwards, who retired earlier this spring after 13 seasons of coaching at Western.

Last season, the London, Ontario university was a middle of the pack team, sitting 6th in the OUA with a 9-9 record.
