Wallaceburg’s Clint Lamarsh will be taking his lacrosse game overseas this summer, playing for Phoenix Lacrosse Club in Perth, Australia.

Lamarsh, a graduate of the Wallaceburg Red Devils program, where he scored 85 points in 19 games last season, including a team leading 53 goals, will work and play in Australia this summer.

Phoenix, who plays in the Western Australia Elite Field Lacrosse League, will provide Lamarsh with work, a car, living expenses, and housing while he plays for the semi-pro field lacrosse team this summer.

During the school year, Lamarsh plays field lacrosse in the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association with Laurentian University. During the 2011 season, Lamarsh finished second in league scoring with 48 points in 10 games, and helped his Voyageurs team to their best ever season.

This season with Laurentian, Lamarsh had 18 points in 7 contests.

While in Australia, Lamarsh will also be coaching a younger team in the Phoenix Club system.
