Maroons Head Coach and GM Bill Bowler Steps Down
CHATHAM, April 16th – The Chatham Maroons today announced that Bill Bowler has stepped down as Head Coach and General Manager. He will become the Head Coach of the Minor Bantam Sun County Panthers for the 2013/14 season.
The organization made an official press release stating,
“The Maroon organization would like to thank Bill Bowler for his service to the club over the last two seasons.”
Bowler helped turn around the Maroons team which placed first in the GOJHL’s Western Conference during the 2012/13 regular season.
The Maroons will start their search for a new head coach and general manager immediately.
Maroons Hold Spring Camp on May 2nd and 3rd, 2013
The Maroons will be holding their Annual Spring Prospects Camp on May 2nd and 3rd, 2013 at Thames Campus arena. The camp is open to prospects with birth years from 1993 to 1998. Prospects that played travel hockey last season will need a junior player permission to skate form from their previous team and home minor hockey center. If your home hockey center has a junior team of any category, you will require their signature as well. Junior C or D players require no permission to skate forms.
