Gracie Barra Fighters Medal at Grapplers Quest

Several Gracie Barra Chatham students competed in the Grapplers Quest 2013 North American Championship on May 25th in Toronto.

Kayne Abrams, in age 10-12 division, won Bronze in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu division with 3 fights.

Taylor Braun won Double Gold in Submission Fighting (No-Gi) as well as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Gi) in the Adult 209lbs division.

Nick Whittal won Gold in No-Gi and Silver in Gi with a total of 6 fights in the 189lbs division.

Shane Lee took Bronze in BJJ Gi 169lb division.

Gracie Barra Chatham also had their first adult woman competitor, Heather Macleod, though she did not place in her first competition.
