The Kent Havoc Rugby Football club will open their 2013 rugby season with a double-header featuring the men’s and women’s sides on Saturday, May 25th. The opening games will also feature a “Ruck Cancer” Event in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.

In support of the Canadian Cancer Society, the club will be taking donations at the gate, and players will be wearing pink, purple, and yellow colours in support of family and friends who have been affected by cancer.

The Senior Kent Havoc Women will begin the day’s festivities, facing Norfolk at 12:00pm. The Kent Havoc Senior Men will follow, playing at 1:30pm against Waterloo County. Both teams are playing in the Niagara Rugby Union “B” Division. The men played last season in the “A” division.

Both games will take place at the old CCI field off Lansdowne Street in Chatham.
