Senior Soccer Kicks Into Gear
The Kent Boys and Girls senior soccer seasons continued Tuesday with several games across Chatham-Kent.
The Wallaceburg Tartans boys remained undefeated beating UCC 5-1, with the Tartans receiving scoring from five different players. Jordan Durston, Garth Denys, Casey McGee, Trent Reaume, and Brayden Fischer had the Wallaceburg goals, while Justus Kerkof had the lone UCC Lancers tally.
CKSS also remained undefeated on the boys side, shutting out the Pain Court Patriotes 5-0. Chad Schnekenburger scored the opening two goals for the CKSS Golden Hawks, before Jake Fancy, Tyrone Mulder, who also scored twice, found the back of the net.
In girls action, Sydney Gagnier and Brooke Armstrong scored as the CKSS Golden Hawks shutout the Pain Court Patriotes 2-0, and UCC shutout Wallaceburg 1-0 in the only other action.
