The Chatham Attack moved into a tie for second place in the Western Ontario Soccer League Fourth Division after defeating London Oakridge 5-0 on the weekend.
Josh Reaume, Aaron Brady, Keegan Pittuck, Chad Schnekenburger and Mitchell Hakker scored for the Attack, while Tristan Allen posted the shutout.
At Thames Campus the Chatham Eagles fell to St. Thomas 2-1 in London & Area Women’s Soccer League action. Chatham opened the scoring on a goal by Laura Churchill, but St Thomas replied, and teams were even at the half time.
Chatham out chanced the visitors in the 2nd half, but could not score, and it was St Thomas that scored the winner in injury time. The Eagles’ next game is Wednesday June 5, at London Portuguese.
In Premier WOSL action, the Chatham Express tied London Croatia 1-1, while the Wallaceburg Sting fell 3-1 to London Marconi over the weekend.
