Fantuz Scores In Season Opener

Chatham’s Andy Fantuz scored a touchdown for the Hamilton Tiger Cats in their CFL season opener, a 39-34 loss to the Toronto Argonauts.

Fantuz scored with 1:12 remaining in the opening quarter, catching a 64-yard touchdown pass from Hamilton quarterback Henri Burris.

In total, Fantuz lead all receivers in the game, making 6 receptions for 112-yards on the day.

Hamilton will now prepare for their home opener, Sunday July 7, when they host the Edmonton Eskimos.
