Dresden, Ontario – Hall of Fame harness driver Dave Wall picked up a driving double at Dresden Raceway Sunday.

The 66-year-old reinsman has won over $60 Million in purses over his career and has visited the winner’s circle 7, 159 times including his two wins today.

Wall has been legendary at Dresden Raceway from 30 years ago when PRO FIGHTER would hit the local oval because he was too good to race at most other tracks and they wouldn’t let him enter. PRO FIGHTER was a longtime track record holder at Dresden Raceway of 2:01.

Wall also held the track record at Dresden Raceway from 1986 until 2001 with THE BRAT in a time of 1:56.4.

The Komoka horseman won his first race today with PICK N A PROMISE in the second dash in a time of 1:59.4.

The four-year-old RAMBARRAN mare is owned by Wall Tyme Stables of Arkona and Dawn Walker of Arkona with Dean Wall as the trainer.
Wall struck again in the third as he steered WALLY TYME through traffic down the stretch to a victory in 2:03.3. The four-year-old KEN WARKENTIN horse is owned by Wall and trained by Dean Wall.
Dresden Raceway was hampered by computer and internet issues today which held the handle to just $3,568 for the 10 race card.
