MacArthur To Coach Israel National Lacrosse Team
“I’m honored to be working with the Israel Lacrosse Association and its management group,” said MacArthur, a Wallaceburg Minor Lacrosse graduate in the Israel Lacrosse news release. “Although a newer FIL member, the progress they’ve made with their field program is a testament to the drive and experience of the people involved. I’m looking forward to learning from and working with my new colleagues.”
MacArthur, a former professional lacrosse player with the National Lacrosse League’s Toronto Rock until 2007, is currently coaching with the Durham Turfdogs of the Canadian Lacrosse League, and the Junior B Clarington Green Gaels. MacArthur will also serve as a scout for Israel’s field lacrosse team at the 2014 World Lacrosse Championships in Denver.
“Brad is an excellent addition for Israel as they make their indoor debut,” stated Doug Luey, Box Sector Chair of the Canadian Lacrosse Association, in the Israel Lacrosse release. “He understands the game at both ends of the floor and has experience with coaching young players. His calm approach should be a tremendous asset for Israel.”
The FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championships will be held on the traditional homelands of the Haudenosaunee, at Onondaga Nation Arena near Syracuse, New York, and First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York, in September of 2015.
If possible, could you provide me with Brad’s contact information? I’m trying to get more information on the Israeli lacrosse team.
Thanks
