Red Devils Fall To Clippers, Durston Hits 100

Jordan Durston scored his 100th point of the season

The Wallaceburg Red Devils fell below .500 on the season after dropping a 14-11 contest to the Windsor Clippers Friday night in their final home game of the regular season.

As he has all season, Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston led the Red Devils’ charge, as he tried to complete a comeback after his team fell 8 goals back midway through the second period. Durston scored 3 goals and added 5 assists in the loss. Durstons final point of the night, was his 100th of the season. He has 46 goals and 54 assists, despite missing multiple games this year while playing Junior A lacrosse with the Six Nations Arrows.

Windsor’s Lucas Ducharme had a big game for the Clippers in the win scoring 4 goals and added 2 assists.

Brennan White, Lucas Beaver, and Brandon Lilley also had multi-goal games for Wallaceburg, each scoring twice, with Beaver adding a pair of assists. Chris Taylor and Nate Carroll also had goals for Wallaceburg.

Joel Shepley, who has seen time with, and scored his first Junior A career goal last week with the Six Nations Arrows, set up 3 goals in the game.

Wallaceburg closes out their regular season Saturday in Windsor against the Clippers.
