Red Devils Snap Losing Streak

The Wallaceburg Red Devils got back in the win column, snapping their six game losing streak Wednesday night, beating the Point Edward Pacers.

Lucas Beaver opened the scoring in the first period, and paced the Red Devils to the final, 15-12 victory. Beaver finished the game with five goals and three assists for eight points.

Mike Myers, who scored second in the game following Beaver’s first period tally, also had an incredible game, scoring four goals and adding four assists in the win.

Evan Mathany and Corey Lucier had the other first period markers.

In the second, Myers scored twice, while Beaver, Mathany, and Brock Daugherty also scored for Wallaceburg.

Beaver scored a hat trick in the third period, while Evan Mathany capped off his own hat trick in the game. Chris Taylor scored the other Wallaceburg goal.

Wallaceburg now has five games remaining in the regular season. The Red Devils play two games on the road this weekend facing Owen Sound and Brampton.
