Havoc Hold First With Home Soil Win

Rugby-BallThe Kent Havoc Men solidified their hold on first place in the Niagara Rugby Union ‘B’ Division with a convincing 31-8 win over the Niagara Wasps in Chatham.

Rookie Jack Thomas scored twice from the wing for the Havoc, and also kicked four conversions. Matt Sutherland and Brad Bettencourt also scored tries for the Havoc, who dominated from start to finish against Niagara.

The Kent Havoc women also picked up a win Saturday, defeating the Wilmot Warthogs 31-27.

Sydnee Nolan and Sarah Whitelaw both were forces the Havoc in the victory.

The Kent Havoc men are hosting the Bruce Barbarians next Saturday 1:30pm at Victoria Park.
