Rare Winner at Dresden Raceway

maximum-whiteDresden – MAXIMUM WHITE made history at Dresden Raceway yesterday as he became only the fourth white standardbred to win a pari-mutual race in the history of the sport. The five-year-old RAMBARAN mare went wire to wire in 2:03.3. MAXIMUM WHITE is owned and trained by Bill Durbridge of Dutton and was driven by Scott Wray.

CLICK BOOM cruised to victory on Sunday marking his third win a row at the local oval and fourth win out of five starts at Dresden Raceway. The three-year-old RAMBARAN colt cruised to a three and a half length victory in 1:59.4 after stepping off a last quarter in 28.4 for Wray’s second win of the day. CLICK BOOM is owned by Karen Matlack of Essex and trained by Keith Cullen.

The largest payout of the day was the 2-8-4 Triactor that paid an even $400 while the fastest mile of the day was registered by B R LUCKY LADY in the 10 race in a time of 1:56.4.
