Suisham Remains Perfect With Woeful Steelers
Suisham, who is now 6-for-6 this season on field goals, and 7-for-7 on extra points, was perfect again Sunday for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who dropped to an NFL worst 0-4, losing 34-27 to the Minnesota Vikings.
Suisham hit a second quarter 26-yard field goal, and kicked a 28-yarder in the fourth quarter, but the Steelers’ offense couldn’t close the gap.
Suisham is also averaging 62 yards on his kickoffs this season.
“We’re not going to make any excuses, we’re going to chew everything that we’ve got coming obviously, but more importantly than that, we’re going to focus on getting better,” said head coach Mike Tomlin about his Steelers’ struggles. “That’s what’s going to change the outcome of these football games.”
The Pittsburgh Steelers now have a bye week to regroup before they look for their first win October 13 on the road against the New York Jets.
